Songnisan National Park is a mountain where Beopju Temple, a temple which is full of national treasures including natural monuments, is located, stretching from Gyeongsangbuk-do to Chungcheongbuk-do. The colorful features of trees planted throughout the national park, sky squirrels hidden home and clear, cold valleys adds to the fun of hiking. If you walk about 20 minutes at the National Park, you will see Beopju Temple, a temple that is not only a 1,500-year-old national treasure in Korea, but also the largest statue of the Gilt-bronze Buddha in the East, which is visited by many people. Take a look at Korean treasures and giant Buddha statues at Songnisan National Park and Beopju Temple! On the way to Beopju Temple, I recommend you to visit the local specialty products sold by local ladies! Songnisan National Park is more beautiful during the fall! This one-day tour is highly recommended for those interested in healing, mountain climbing, and Buddhism in nature.
