[Yangyang] Making a DASH herb bottle at Yangyang Upcycling Corporation

With the support the Ministry of Land, Yangyang Recycling Corporation made the "Environmental Education Campaign Experience Program" to recycle imported liquor bottles instead of throwing them away, with Yangyang-gun Office and its local residents altogether. 


We offer the "DASH HERB BOTTLE" experience class, which enables environmental protection and education at the same time by reusing imported glass bottles that are thrown away as garbage in Yangyang. 



We developed a plant pot making experience kit by reusing imported glass bottles that got to buried in the landfill because recycling is impossible, and prepared a fun and meaningful lecture by combining resource circulation education.


There is an empty bottle deposit system for beer and soju bottles produced in Korea, so that consumers can collect and reuse them. However, imported liquor bottles are manufactured abroad and the raw materials are different from domestic ones, so they cannot be reused in Korea and are treated as garbage. 

When these bottles get to buried in the landfills, they are difficult to be purified naturally due to the their material features and cause damage to the environment, such as disturbing the ecosystem of the soil.


It is expected that the sustainable development of Yangyang, environmental protection, and movement for improvement will shine with Yangyang Upcycling Corporation.
