[Uljin] Making Korean Traditional Salt experience

Make the finest salt through the Making Uljin Toyeom salt experience! 

Highly recommend it to those who would like to make the finest salt with the Korean traditional salt production and processing method. Uljin salt, which contains extremely better chemical composition included than the French "Guerande" salt! Make "Uljin Salt," the finest salt containing a thousand years of history.

• Learn the value of Uljin Toyeom, the point of each salt production & processing, and the ecology of the Donghae sea.

• Put the saltwater in the Korean stone bowl and boil it with the alcohol lamp. Keep boiling the saltwater by heating the alcohol lamp and blow the moisture away. 

​• Observe the salt crystals form as moisture flies away.

​​• Heat the salt in the Korean stone bowl and shake it with the spoon and finally make the salt powder.

• After the experience put approx 30g of salt made by yourself in a salt storage container.

• You will be served the approx 100g of Uljin Salt as a gift.

Experience Process

Duration: Approx 50 minutes

1. Make the reservation after choosing the desired date and time.

2.Check the voucher sent to the email/mobile phone.

※ A voucher will be sent right after your booking is confirmed.

3. Please make sure to arrive at least 10 minutes beforehand.

4. Present the voucher to the staff and proceed with the experience.

• [Uljin Bus Terminal] Get on the Taxi/Vehicles to [Uljin Toyeom] → approximately 5 mins (approx. 3,500 won [KRW])

• [Uljin EXPO Park] parking lot available for free. 

1. This experience is available above the age of 5 yrs old.

2. If the reservation is unavailable due to the company's situation or weather condition, you will be contacted by the CS Team via email.

3. This experience can be purchased from more than 2 people.

4. Salt can be purchased additionally on-site. 

• Cancellation 1 day before booking date (5 PM KST): 100% Refund

• Cancellation 2 hours before booking date (5 PM KST): 50% Refund
