[Incheon] Ganghwado One Day Tour : Luge + Hanjeongsik

Enjoy various experiences in Ganghwa Island, a sea city near Seoul!

Ganghwado Island, a large island next to Incheon, is the place where important historical documents from the old Korean dynasty are kept. Currently, it has established itself as a representative tourist destination where you can experience exciting activities as well as historical sites. Get on the gondola to the top and ride down on a cart while admiring the beautiful sea!

Luge Experience

• Take a look at the mountains and the sea while riding on the gondola! Starting from the top, the luge consists of a course of about 2 kilometers, providing thrilling speed and special fun.

※ Please note that children under 10 yrs old or heights below 85~120cm must be accompanied by their guardians.
※ For those who are over 10 yrs old or height above 120cm can be available to take a Luge alone. 
※ Elderly over 65 yrs old can not take a Luge but can take a gondola.

Ganghwado Hanjeongsik

Ganghwado is famous for its abundance of agricultural products, so it is rich in food materials and famous for good rice quality. Taste rich Hanjeongsik in a traditional Korean mood! It will be the best lunch ever!

Sochang experience center

• Sochang Experience Center, which was a dyeing factory site in 1938, continues making natural cotton fabrics in the traditional way. Listen to Ganghwado Island's textile history at the Sochang Experience Center and make your own useful handkerchief as a souvenir!

Joyangbanggik Gallery & Cafe

•  It is very famous on SNS! It was a textile manufacturing factory that was well known in Ganghwa. However it had been closed since 1990. Nowadays, using contemporary heritages as decoration, it becomes a special nice cafe. ((Drinks not included)

Gimbap Making (Seaweed Museum)

• At the Seaweed Museum, you’ll make gimbap (seaweed rice rolls) using fresh ingredients while learning about the history, production, and processing of seaweed. You can also enjoy cultural experiences such as trying on hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) and exploring a traditional hanok (Korean house). A variety of seaweed products in different flavors and types are available for purchase as souvenirs.

Lotte Paju Premium Outlet

As Korea's largest premium outlet, it offers over 200 international and Korean luxury brands at affordable prices. It is the first suburban outlet to combine shopping with cultural experiences, featuring additional facilities such as a cultural center, cultural hall, gallery, movie theater, kid's cafe, and bookstore. The outlet's sophisticated architecture, along with the beautiful natural surroundings created by the nearby Simhak mountain, provides both convenient shopping and peaceful relaxation.

Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo

Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo is a large-scale outlet mall developed by the renowned Hyundai Department Store Group in South Korea. Located in Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do, it is only about 20 minutes by car from Gimpo International Airport. The outlet features over 240 international and local brand stores offering year-round discounts. In addition to shopping, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of dining options, children's play facilities, and regular cultural events - making it an ideal destination for both shopping and leisure.

Aegibong Peace EcoPark

Aegibong Peace EcoPark, located in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, is a popular spot for both residents and tourists, offering a peaceful retreat to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The park features various attractions, including Peace ecological exhibition hall, where visitors can learn about the ecology and history of the Jogang(祖江) area. From the observatory, visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape, and even catch a rare view of North Korea, just 1.4km away.

Hanji Craft

Korean paper crafts are an ancient and traditional form of handmade artistry that uses Korean paper(Hanji) to create various artistic works. Making keychains with traditional Korean designs is a popular activity. It is simple yet rich in cultural meaning, allowing participants to create beautiful and functional souvenirs that reflect Korea's rich heritage.

1. The schedule may change depending on the weather and traffic conditions.

2. Please require beforehand if a wheelchair or stroller is needed. (op@seoulpass.kr)

3. Children under the age of 3 are free. (no extra seat provided)

4. Cancellation of the tour due to the minimum number of reservations not being reached will be notified by the CS Team via email. 

5. Height between 85cm ~120cm and infants between 48 months ~ 10 years of age must board on the luge with an adult.

6. Only children over the age of 10 and over 120cm of height are allowed to ride the luge alone.

7. Elderly over 65 years old can board the Gondola but not the luge.

8. If the luge is unavailable due to the weather, it will be replaced with a visit to Ilsan Aqua Planet.

9. Once or twice extra ride of the luge will be available on-site with a discount. Please let the staff know on-site.

10. Language support varies depending on the number of customers.A guide will accompany you from a minibus with more than 10 people and 15 people. It will be held in a van with 10 people or less, and will be led by a tour specialist Ben Driver. (If you are a Korean driver, you can communicate in basic English and interpret Chinese and English through phone calls or apps.

11. If the pax is under 10 then the tour will be proceed with Van, and van driver who are familiar with tour (If the driver is Korean then experience will be proceed with English and available to interpretate in Chinese, English via phone call or app.)

12. Under Korean law, children under the age of 6 must use car seats. Please let me know the number of car seats you need when you make a reservation. There will be an additional charge.

13. Ganghwa Luge course will be changed to Ilsan Aqua Planet on 17th, 18th, 19th of January due to the Ganghwa Luge Cable Car Inspection.

14. Aegibong Peace EcoPark is a military-controlled area. You must bring your passport for entry.
