The DMZ Spy Tour is a motif of the 1968 Cheong Wa Dae attack on the presidential office of the North Korean special forces. The tour begins near Cheong Wa Dae, where the first gunfight between North Korean special forces and South Korean police took place.
From the site of the first battle, we will move to the Octagonal Pavilion on Mount Bugak, where you will hear explanations from an expert on anti-aircraft guns, radars and anti-aircraft missiles installed by the South Korean military in preparation for an attack by the North Korean military. Leaving for Bugaksan Mountain Palgakjeong Pavilion, the next destination, the Odusan Observatory takes about an hour by car, and you can see rural villages and farmers working in North Korea.
Afterwards, heading to Yeoncheon, you get to visit the 1.21 infiltration and military observation deck where North Korean Army crossed the Demilitarized Zone. At the Experience Hall, you will be given an opportunity to wear the Korean military uniform and take pictures, as well as events such as hanging peace ribbons at 1.21 infiltration. After the tour, you will receive a DMZ visit certificate and souvenirs.
Basic SPY Tour - After lunch, visiting Imjingak Peace Park, then return to Seoul to visit the War Memorial of Korea. The tour will focus on the U.N. Special Exhibition Room on the third floor of the War Memorial of Korea, especially a four-minute film titled 'Tears'. Finishing the tour by heading back to the hotel.
DMZ Spy + 3rd Tunnel Tour- After lunch, you will visit Imjingak Peace Park then board on the bus that heads to 3rd Tunnel, Dorasan Observatory and to Dorasan Station. Going across the Tongil Bridge, which contains the story of Chung Ju-yung, the president of Hyundai and the civilian control line, you can learn and see about Camp Bonifas and Greaves, a U.S. military unit, and Tongilchon, a Korean village within the civilian control line, while listening to the guide. Enter and explore the 3rd Tunnel yourself, which is a symbol of confrontation between the South and the North. Walk up to the observatory of Dorasan Mountain, where you can see the DMZ and North Korea in one sight, and enjoy Dorasan Station hoping for a unified future.
