Special Exhibition

One must hold one's breath to enter the water and can only breathe again upon surfacing. Water and breath cannot coexist, so haenyeo lives in harmony with the sea, without greed.

This exhibition offers a glimpse into the lives of haenyeo through the works of various artists, including those who are active haenyeo themselves. It is a space where visitors can experience the stories of Jeju’s haenyeo, moving between water and breath, and sharing in the very breath of the ocean.

1. After purchasing your desired option, please check the mobile voucher or the voucher sent to your email. (Check the QR code (16 digit number) on the voucher).

2. Visit the place freely within 90 days of purchase.

3. Instead of exchanging tickets at the ticket booth, please redeem the QR code (16 digit number) listed on the voucher at the entrance gate and enter directly. (QR code redemption is required for each facility usage).

On departure from Jeju International Airport

1. City bus : about 1 hour and 50 minutes

• Use the bus stop at the airport (Pyosun, Seongsan, Namwon)

• Express bus (to Beonyeong-ro) 110, 110-1 ride (about 1 hour and 30 minutes)

→ Get off at the Seongsan transfer stop

→ Walk (Goseong-ri Seongsan NH bank, former Seongsan NH) (3 minutes)

→ Ride the township branch line 721-1, 721-2 (approximately 10 minutes)

→ Move after getting off at Seopjikoji Station

2. By taxi: takes approximately 50 minutes

- Move to long-distance taxi station at the airport, and board the local taxi of Seongsan-eup.

1. You cannot re-enter Aqua Planet Jeju.

2. To protect exhibited life and maintain the exhibition environment, pets are prohibited to enter. 

3. This ticket is for FIT travelers only, it is not available to the gruop tours and their guides. Please note that entering will not be permitted when showing up with the guide at the venue. 

4. This ticket is only for foreigners, Korean is unavailable.

Q. Is it possible to bring in a wheelchair / baby carriage inside the exhibition halls?

A. Yes, it is possible.

Since the aisle of the Aqua Planet Jeju is wide, a wheelchair / baby carriage is available for use.

However, please fold the wheelchair or baby carriage at the food court on Basement Level 1 and keep it in the storage while watching the Ocean Arena performances.

※ Electric lift is installed in the building, so there would not be any problem watching the Ocean Arena performances. However, since the lift takes 2 ~ 3 minutes to use, please let the Aqua Planet Jeju staff know in advance of the show.

Q. Can I take pictures and record videos?

A. You can take pictures and video unless it is expressly posted somewhere.

However, for the safety of living creatures, flash is prohibited.
