Information

A Heartwarming Tale of Healing and Connection

Based on Korea's million-copy bestselling novel, this music drama follows the people who remain at Always and the new faces who find their way there, as they learn to keep going through the comfort they find in one another. In life, there are moments when we lose our way and need time to return to ourselves. And in those moments, what we need may not be a perfect answer, but a small light that tells us it is okay to pause for a while.

[Synopsis]
One and a half years have passed since Dokgo left the Always Convenience Store.

The world has changed after going through the COVID-19 pandemic, and many changes have also come to the Always Convenience Store in Cheongpa-dong.

Sun-sook, who has become the store manager, quietly endures the weight of everyday life, while Min-sik, who takes over as owner in place of his mother Young-sook during her recovery, focuses only on profits and gradually turns the convenience store into an even more “uncomfortable” place.
Around that time, Mr. Gwak, who had long worked the night shift, leaves the convenience store, and a new night-shift part-timer named Geun-bae arrives.

A big man with a lot to say, yet somehow warm and human.

With nothing more than an expired sandwich, a bag of dried fish snacks, and an unexpected joke, he slowly melts the hardened hearts of the people around him. Reminding them of Dokgo, he stays by their side in his own unique way.

Meanwhile, people with their own personal stories continue to visit the Always Convenience Store.

Mr. Gwak, who wants to rebuild his relationship with his daughter
So-jin, who faces reality when a long-awaited opportunity arrives after three years
Min-gyu, a teenager who feels more comfortable at the convenience store than at home
Min-sik, the owner who only realizes the emptiness left by his family after his mother leaves
Young-sook, who hopes her life will remain in someone’s memory even as her own memories fade
and In-kyung, who continues to pursue her dream of becoming a playwright.

People who have briefly lost their way along the path of life meet each other in the small space of a convenience store, and a small act of kindness from one person becomes another person’s tomorrow, continuing onward.
