A special cooking class where you create and enjoy the flavors of Korea with a chef, inside a traditional Hanok in the heart of Seoul.
Rakkojae Korean Cuisine Cooking Class is a reservation-only experience held in a serene traditional Hanok, where participants can not only cook Korean dishes themeselves but also learn the cultural meaning behind them.
The class offers customized menus for both vegan and non-vegan participants. The vegan menu includes japchae and pajeon(which can be changed to seafood pajeon if desired), while the non-vegan menu features bossam(boiled pork wraps) and fresh kimchi, allowing everyone to choose according to their taste.
Once the dishes are completed, you'll sit around the table with the chef to enjoy the meal, taking the time to slowly savor the deep flavors of the food you prepared with care.
In addition, one bottle of paired alcoholic beverage or a non-alcoholic soft drink is provided, offering a level of satisfaction beyond a typical cooking class.
The program accommodates up to 6 participants and is open to children aged elementary school and above, making it a great option for family experiences as well.
If you select the additional option for gayageum performance, you can enjoy a welcoming gayageum performance and experience the program while listening to it as background music.
Inside the unique space of a traditional Hanok, go beyond a simple cooking class and immerse yourself in the flavors, culture, and spirit of Korean cuisine with all five senses. This experience will be deeply satisfying not only for international guests but also for local visitors seeking a special day.
