[Seoul] OraeGage Bukchon Hanok Village Waling Tour

'OraeGage' refers to a store that has continued the tradition and values of Seoul for a long time. It contains the meaning of an old store that hopes to last a long time.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has discovered and designated OraeGage stores that contain Seoul's unique atmosphere and story for the past five years since 2017 to show the numerous tourist attractions in Seoul to domestic and foreign tourists.

Bukchon, located north of Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno, is a place where the spirit of our ancestors remains intact in the 600-year history of the city.

Hanok is a traditional Korean architectural style that has been developed and passed down through various eras, and it still has significant historical value today.

Through this tour, you can observe the changes in the appearance of Hanok with the passage of time.

By experiencing traditional Korean food, etiquette, and art, you can understand the lifestyle and values of the noble at that time.

Tour Schedule

01:00pm : Guide meeting at Anguk Station(line 3) Exit 3(Outside of the Station) : Pass Cafe onion : Watch modernized Hanoks and find out why Hanoks are loved by locals.
01:10pm - Bukchon Traditional Culture Center : Watch the traditional Hanok and learn about its appearance.
01:30pm - Gyedong-gil : We will pass through a street surrounded by countless Hanok.
01:40pm - Bukchon Hanok Center for History : Visit public Hanok which serves as the center for various cultural activities such as exhibitions and performances.
02:00pm- Kum Bak Yeon : Visit the gum bak(gold leaf) craft workshop operates for a long time.
02:10pm - Baek In-je House : Watch the houses of nobles during the Joseon Dynasty, designated as a Seoul Folk Cultural Property in 1977.
02:20pm - Low Roof Cafe : Stop by a modern cafe where you can watch a wonderful view of Hanok Village.
02:40pm - The Sool Gallery : Learn about Korean traditional liquor and slake your thirst with Korean traditional tea.

3. This tour is not a private tour, the tour will be held with multinational guests. However, the guide language will be in English.

4. Record or take a video of the narrator's commentary during the tour is not permitted.

5. Pets are not allowed, and there is no extra place for pets. 

6. Reservation checking is unavailable on weekends and public holidays.

7. If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know in advacne when you making a reservation.

8. This is a walking tour. (Not moving by vehicle.)

9. This tour departs with a minimum number of 2 people.
