Outsized Aqua Planet in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do is located only 50 minutes away from Seoul by subway.

It is one of the largest theme parks followed by Aqua Planet Jeju and Aqua Planet Yeosu. Surrounded by nearby attractions, the famous theme park One Mount and Ilsan Lake Park, it is a great place to enjoy the fresh air being away from Seoul!

• Aqua Planet Ilsan is a popular attraction for children as they can touch the living creatures and watch Aqua musicals for free.

6. Main Water Tank Transparent Boat Ride Experience

Thrilling Experience of Walking on Water!

Experience the underwater world up close, right above the main tank. Enjoy the thrill of seeing it with your own eyes and even feeding the creatures yourself.

• Duration: Approximately 20 minutes

• Location: 2F The Aqua – "Deep Blue Ocean" (Main water tank)

• Experience Fee: 10,000 KRW per person (No distinction between Adult/Child)

• How to Apply:  Apply at the ticket booth (AQUA-X BOAT) located in front of the main tank on the 3rd floor of Aqua Planet on the day of your visit. (Maximum of 10 people per ride / First come, first served)

• Restrictions: Children under 100cm in height are restricted from boarding. (Children between 80 and 100cm in height may board if accompanied by a guardian.)

※ Transparent boat rides are available on weekdays until 5:30 PM and on weekends until 5:20 PM.

※ Tickets can be purchased on-site on a first-come, first-served basis.

※ If you don't see the Aqua Planet, you cannot board the transparent boat.

Aqua Planet Ilsan Food Court

• Opening hours: 10:00 ~ 18:30

• A variety of food is available such as Korean Food restaurant "Gungchae", Ttoekbokki restaurant "School Store", and Hotdog restaurant “NewYork Hotdog & Coffee", etc.

1. Purchase the desired product and check mobile voucher or email voucher. (Check the QR code(16 digit number) on the voucher.)

2. Visit the place freely within 90 days of purchase.

3. Instead of exchanging tickets at the ticket office, please redeem the QR code(16 digit number) listed on the voucher at the entrance gate and enter directly.  

[Aqua Planet Entrance]

• Exit 3 of Juyeop Station (Subway line 3, orange line) → Go straight for 15 minutes → One Mount → Cross the bridge → Next to the Musical Fountain

1. Operating hours and program schedules may change depending on Aqua Planet Ilsan’s internal circumstances.

2. There may be restrictions in using some zones due to safety checks.

3. Elders and children must be followed by guidance. Aqua Planet Ilsan will take no responsibility for any kind of careless accidents. 

4. Pets are prohibited to enter.

5. For safety reasons, the entry of wagons (including those for infants), cars, and bicycle-type strollers is restricted within the exhibition area.

※ The rented wheelchair / baby carriage is only available inside the Aqua Planet building. Please refrain from using it outside of the parking lot and buildings.

※ Since the baby carriage is a small stroller, it is rented out only to a baby under 36 months. It can be run out from limited quantities. 

Q. Is there any locker in Aqua Planet Ilsan?

A. Location: In front of 1F Elevator

Q. Is there a zoo outside the building?

A. ‘The Aqua’ and ‘The Jungle’ is operated indoors, ‘The Sky Farm’ is operated outdoors.

Q. Is it possible to bring in a wheelchair / baby carriage inside the exhibition halls?

A. People with a wheelchair / baby carriage can use the elevator next to the ticket account on the first floor. In the auditorium, there are elevators next to the main water tank on the second floor and the touch pool on the third floor. 

Q. Can I take pictures and record videos?

A. You can take pictures and video unless it is expressly posted somewhere.

However, for the safety of living creatures, flash is prohibited.

Q. Is it possible to go out & eat and re-enter during the tour?

A. Once you exit the building, you cannot re-enter.
